It has been more than one year since Bil-Den Metal Roofing Systems replaced our steel roof because of a paint defect. The roof had been installed on our house for 12 years at that time, and had never leaked. I may have told you it was the first roof on this house since it was built, that was leak free. The previous two roofs were regular shingles and did not hold up well at all.
We want to thank you again for your speedy and worry free processing of our warranty claim with Tamko Building Products. You outlined the options available to us, and we opted to have the roofing material completely removed and replacement material installed at no cost to us. This included disposal of the old material and addition of a new membrane, new steel in the same colour as the original, and continuation of the original warranty. We also took your advice and added additional vents and snow guards and we are glad we did. We have experienced two hot summers since the new roof was installed and the additional vents have reduced our air conditioning use considerably. Last winter the snow guards had a good test and were very effective at stopping snow from sliding off the roof onto our balcony and front walk. We wish now we had installed the vents and guards on the original steel roof!

Punctual, pleasant to deal with. Price was high but all other factors, excellent. Choice of materials, sales - excellent. Follow-up (ice-guards, installed 1 1/2 yrs after original roofing job) Prompt and obliging.
